You will build a career that you are proud of, at a company you can believe in. **Project Manager- Supply Chain Strategy** Seeking a highly motivated and organized associate who would be responsible for working cross functionally to deliver complex projects on time, within the defined business parameters and on budget. Responsibilities include but are not limited to creation of detailed project plans that span multiple departments, act as a liaison cross functionally to ensure tasks are completed on time, identify and escalate risks to project deadlines, lead efforts to find solutions to challenges and drive the supply chain strategy through implementation. Location: Remote or Hybrid in Newport News HQ **Primary Responsibilities** + Partner with Supply Chain Departments, Facilities, IT, District Leadership, Finance, Our Brand OpCos and 3rd party vendors to develop and implement large Supply Chain Initiatives + Must be able to work directly with internal and external partners to determine project scope, specifications, requirements, and required timelines + Create detailed project plans to provide organization and clarity of roles and responsibilities + Set up standard cadence of communication with all relevant partners to drive awareness, action and timeliness to completing project landmarks + Coordinate the activities of 3rd party vendors /contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project, and they meet the agreed upon tasks + Maintain project management tools to bring visibility to Supply Chain projects + Proactively identify, communicate and escalate issues/risks to project deadlines + Lead efforts to find solutions to challenges and minimize impacts to the business + Perform regular project tracking and status updates to executive level partners + Act as a trusted and knowledgeable supply chain resource; represent department on various committees/councils **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor’s or higher degree in Project Management, Business, Supply Chain Management or related field from accredited institution + 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination education and experience + Strong time-management skills and ability to function optimally without daily oversight from management + Experience with project management, business intelligence and automation tools such as: SmartSheet, PowerBI, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. + Requires strong interpersonal and consulting skills + Strong organizational, planning, presentation and follow-up skills + Good business acumen and high integrity + Proven attention to detail coupled with interpersonal skills + Ability to be flexible, adaptable and multitasking skills needed, including the ability to balance multiple, urgent requests + Self-starter, creative problem solver, and self-sufficient + Open to travel (including overnights) as needed At Ferguson, we care for each other.
