As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for tendering, pricing, planning and purchasing of correct quantity of required parts and goods. Responsible for Total IA/CAPEX project completion.

General Responsibilities:

Executing assigned work in a safe and effective manner

Complying with company procedures, rules, and regulations

Participating and contributing in relevant meetings

Filling in hour lists every day (SAP)

Contributing actively to proposals for improvement of equipment, services, QHSE, procedures, and routines

Reporting non-conformity in quality and HSE

Contributing technical competence related to product or equipment

Training new employees

Performing other work as instructed by superior

Job Specific Responsibilities:

Being responsible for project planning and purchasing correct quantity of required parts and goods

Driving physical and systematic changes in the material flow process by deploying Lean/Six Sigma methodology and other relevant technologies/systems

Acting as ERP super user

Maintaining product pricelist

Performing material recovery planning

Creating purchase order requisitions

Issuing production work orders (IA)

Planning picking of parts to production

Following up part deliveries and assessing effect on master schedule

Maintaining master data in ERP system

Inquiring, ordering, and calling-off

Scheduling time, coordinating, and expediting

Negotiating with vendors

Sourcing alternative suppliers

Initiating improvements in supply chain

Supporting SCM on major contract negotiations

Developing and securing operational expertise and experience within the Logistics Planning function, participating in a group of Planning and Procurement specialists

Ensuring optimal flow of supply, call-off, inventory levels, and supply to manufacturing, including current portfolio and NPIs

Securing best possible use of IT-business/procurement and planning tools

Securing best possible support for manufacturing, E&D, engineering, and logistics

Following up on cost forecasts at single project level

Analyzing cost of projects from component level up to total cost

Helping E&D in reporting status on pilot and prototype projects

Measuring projects on DG2 level and warning relevant personnel if deviations occur

Analyzing offers in tenders and working towards new and existing suppliers

Negotiating frame agreements with suppliers

Reporting financially

To be successful in this role you need the below:

Have University degree (Bachelor/Master) within Engineering/Finance, or Trade Certificate/ Technical CollegeHave relevant experience in procurement, materials, planning and executionPreferably Technical background in Mechanical Engineering and/or electronicsBe excellent in Excel, Power BI and Microsoft skillsHave ERP M3 knowledge and experience is preferableHave knowledge of economic and commercial principlesHave experience from maritime or offshore industryPreferably knowledge within well intervention downhole processesBe Fluent in English and Norwegian language skills
