Our ambition as People and Organization (P&O) function is to co-own the overall Siemens transformation, enabling Siemens’ businesses to remain successful in an ever faster changing environment. Our global P&O leadership team has recently established the new P&O Strategy 2030 and is regularly reviewing P&O's strategic priorities. In this framework, we are further expanding our recently established Ecosystems team. This expansion will contribute to the comprehensive management of strategy ideation and deployment, while also providing our businesses with the necessary capabilities and capacities.  

What role will you play? 

As a Project Manager, Strategy & Communications for P&O ECO, this is new and uniquely created role for you to drive P&O's key strategic priorities in a project setting as well as own external communications that highlight Siemens’ efforts on workforce development, digital transformation, and sustainability.  This is a remote working opportunity reporting into our Washington D.C. location.

During external communications, you will… 

Craft compelling briefs that encapsulate Siemens’ efforts in workforce development, digital transformation, and mental well-being. Create high-quality presentation materials, digital content, and executive briefs that highlight P&O’s strategic initiatives. Act as the trusted partner for the Siemens US CHRO to assist in building a systematic framework of viewpoints and messaging. Provide insightful and creative opinions and views that clearly represent the company's point of view and strategy. Ability to translate complex strategic thinking into content that is easy to understand and disseminate. Develop and refine key messages and talking points for speeches, press releases, media interviews, and digital communications Manage communications calendars and coordinate timelines for press releases, social media, and digital content launches

During P&O strategy projects, you will… 

·        Manage the setup, organization, and guidance of project modules for executing complex and high-profile P&O projects in an international context. This role offers the chance to expand your professional network within Siemens and across various regions.

Take the lead in structuring, guiding, and executing high-impact P&O projects in a dynamic global environment. You will gain hands-on experience managing complex initiatives while expanding your global network across Siemens. Be responsible for driving strategic projects and associated activities (e.g., project timeline, scope, activity planning, budget, presentation development) with strong partnership with global teams (e.g., ECO, Talent & Learning, Talent Acquisition). Track project milestones and deliverables, providing regular status updates to senior leadership. Be a change agent, think end-to-end, challenge, hypothesize, test & build innovative solutions. Connect the dots and enable colleagues to recognize and address interdependencies, ensuring cohesion across strategic P&O efforts.

Basic Qualifications for this role:

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. 10+ years of professional experience in communications, project management, or related strategic roles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), and experience using management or collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, MS Teams, Power BI).  Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information for diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications for this role:

Outstanding creativity, communication and stakeholder management skills. You leverage the dynamics of a large organization and use smart influencing to effectuate change. Experience in developing creative, effective communication plans for a diverse and mobile workforce including implementation. Apply strong project management skills to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and drive successful initiatives. Extensive experience in workforce development and digital transformation. An entrepreneurial “can do” attitude and are excited to shape this new team.

The pay range for this position is $142,310 - $243,960 plus an annual incentive target of 20% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
