Major responsibilities:
Review of SHS sales orders and contract upgrades for the assigned region to ensure the deliverables are compatible and achievableCoordinate and supervise site preparations with customers, in order to ensure sites are contractually compliant for SHS products installationsProvide project management services by planning SHS activities and resources for installation of SHS products on prepared customer sites, to ensure installations and upgrades can be carried out from start to end according to plans established and contracts agreed with customersCollect documents of Acceptance Test results, to ensure that all contractual conditions are met according to schedule for final handover of the installation project to the customersPlan, design and manage the implementation of all new system installations and large system upgrades, to ensure highest quality whilst minimizing costsInterface externally with customers and 3rd party vendors / architects for the timely execution of projects to ensure that they can perform their work according to established installation project plans and that necessary actions are taken to resolve issues and problemsRecord all information resulting from project meetings and site inspections with customers, SHS installation engineers and external contractors, in order to provide all parties, the necessary information to enable them to perform their activities according to established installation project plansMaintain procedures and tools such as MS project/Task-Ray, Digi Dashboard, Gantt charts, Travel reports, check lists and escalation reports to enable all parties to perform their activities according to established installation project plansInterface internally with Installation Supervisors / sales organization / order processing / centralized services to provide them the necessary technical support on installations and optimize customer relationsDevelop and maintain close working relationships between SHS sales, order processing, installation teams, applications teams and European & APJI local and regional service managers, to achieve a smooth processing of customer orders according to installation and upgrade plans and provide regular reports on ongoing installation projectsMonitor installation process indicators and conduct debriefings, in order to track issues and take corrective actions to solve problems and ensure installations are carried out according to established installation project plans. Monitor customer facility preparation and coordinate equipment shipment schedules to ensure timely and effective installation and commissioning of equipmentAt completion of a project, collect relevant documents such as but not limited to:Acceptance Test resultsAcceptance Letters and/or Installation Verification FormsCustomer configuration information to ensure that all contractual conditions are met according to schedule for final handover of the installation project to the customer and local SHS ServiceProvide accurate data for revenue recognition to ensure accurate forecasting.Review / approve documentation flow per project to use consistent work methodsPerform other duties as assignedAs a subject matter expert, delivers product and/or procedural training to other project managers.Expertise and skillsets:
Bachelor’s degree from recognized technical institute or University in software engineering, Computer Engineering etc. Or related fields or equivalent education.Minimum 4-5 years of project management in an IT equipment field, Capital Equipment Field, Healthcare business or an equivalent number of years managing SHS IT products as a Support EngineerPMI or Equivalent Certificate Fluency in the local language and in English, Excellent verbal and written communication skills requireone other major foreign language preferredMust be mature and tactfulSound understanding of commercial termsVery articulate and skilled in interpersonal communicationsWilling to travelWilling to work normal and non-normal hours as required to support the customersCompetent understanding of all aspects of planning and installation Software Control & Support SystemsBusiness administration skillsExcellent skills in applying SHS health & safety regulations to job holder’s work environmentConflict Management and negotiating skills desired.Knowledge:
Thorough knowledge and professional experience of project management (planning and execution), particularly as it relates to working across functional interfaces in a capital equipment field.Sound knowledge of and professional experience with microcomputers / PC based systems. Must have a general knowledge of network design, software controls systems, and server management.
