Our client is a world renowned Oil & Gas company and are seeking a Project Manager to work within their specialty lubricants / chemicals division. In this role you will manage R&D and innovation / product development into manufacturing.
Role Overview
Manage the R&D, innovation, and product development portfolio, overseeing project managers for individual projects. Track resources and identify constraints impacting project delivery; engage with senior management to resolve conflicts. Monitor the R&D budget and provide regular reports to the Technical & Product Lead for effective budget management. Own the innovation pipeline process. Coordinate technical data exploitation through commercial publications and events. Track projects and report progress to senior management as necessary. Support ISO 9001 and customer audits for innovation and product development. Assist in implementing ISCC+ certification, integrating it into the product development strategy. Serve as the owner of Monday.com project management software, responsible for staff training and project tracking implementation. Gather customer feedback from the Commercial Team to inform innovation strategy. Engage with the wider community within company to shape innovation strategy.Skills & Qualifications
Specialty Chemicals: Strong background in specialty chemicals and their applications. Project Management: Proven experience in managing complex R&D / product developmetn projects from initiation to launch. Budget Management: Proficient in tracking and managing project budgets. Resource Allocation: Ability to identify and resolve resource conflicts effectively. ISO Standards: Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and audit processes. Certification Knowledge: Understanding of ISCC+ certification requirements. Software Proficiency: Experience with project management tools.Education & Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field preferred. Experience: Minimum 3 years in project delivery role within the chemicals process business.Pay & Benefits
