Job DescriptionPurchasing Quality Management for Purchased parts of eBike connected devices, focus on displays.
- Develop the "displays" material field technical knowledge and strategy with the competence team. Support the definition of technical specifications and quality standards for small-format ebike displays
- Plan and execute preventive quality activities with suppliers and in alignment with project purchasing for new parts in R&D projects and for changes as member of the project team.
- Serve as a technical contact for display suppliers, and the Bosch purchasing, project management, and development teams.
- Lead the technical discussion with suppliers and represent quality aspects for sourcing decisions
- Take responsibility for quality approval of purchased parts, establish acceptance criteria and sampling plans for incoming displays
- Define and tracks ramp-up and initial production quality activities and addresses start-up issues
- Lead taskforces in case of quality escalation and drive lessons learned activities within purchasing quality and engineering organization
- Technical background with focus on display technologies and quality management
- In-depth expertise in displays technology (LCD, OLED, e-paper) incl. fundamental concepts, manufacturing processes, design elements and their specific quality challenges.
- Experience with supplier quality assurance processes, preferably in consumer electronics or in the display industry
- Familiarity with environmental and reliability testing methods for electronic components
- Strong communication skills for effective supplier and cross-functional collaboration within the international team
- Independent, structured, and analytical working style
- English and Chinese language as working language
