Job Title: Project Manager – Power Projects Key Responsibilities: + Represent the client in all project-related activities, ensuring design, procurement, and construction meet quality, safety, and contractual standards. + Oversee the review of engineering designs, technical submittals, and contractor deliverables. + Manage the project from the consultancy side, coordinating with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure timely progress and compliance. + Monitor and report on schedule, budget, risks, and overall project performance. + Provide expert advice on technical matters, design coordination, and construction methodologies. + Review and validate contractor claims, change orders, progress payments, and contractual correspondence. + Facilitate coordination between different technical disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical) involved in overhead lines, substations, and power generation systems. + Participate in project audits, risk assessments, and strategic planning sessions. + Ensure project documentation is complete, compliant, and properly archived. Qualifications and Skills: + Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (Master’s degree is a plus). + PMP certification or equivalent is preferred. + Minimum of 10 years’ experience managing power infrastructure projects in a consultancy role. + Strong understanding of international standards (IEC, IEEE, etc.) and transmission/distribution engineering practices. + Experience working with EPC contract or similar contract forms. + Proven track record in delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects in the power sector. + Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. + Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus. + Familiar with project management tools and reporting platforms (Primavera, MS Project).
