Key Responsibilities:
This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical, and adaptable project manager who excels in multi-cultural environments and is committed to operational excellence and effective stakeholder engagement.
Active Listening:Engage with stakeholders and team members, confirming understanding of requirements, project parameters, and feedback to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the portfolio review process.Attention to Detail:Ensure all project management controls and documentation are accurate and thorough, maintaining high standards in tracking policy reviews, status reports, and quality checks of booking requests.Big Data Planning:Develop and implement plans to gather, organize, and analyze large sets of policy data, accelerating innovation and efficiency in the portfolio review process.Business Partnership & Consulting:Function as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders at all levels, providing insights on market trends, business strategies, and operating environments to support successful project delivery.Customer Knowledge:Demonstrate understanding of the organization’s structure, business strategy, and challenges, as well as key leaders and industry context, to tailor project management approaches and communications.Customer Service Support:Respond promptly to IT or business-related issues that impact portfolio review, resolving technical problems and supporting team members and stakeholders through direct contact.Data Analysis:Collect, analyze, and interpret data from portfolio reviews to present actionable insights, track progress, and inform decision-making for resource allocation and milestone achievement.Multi-tasking and Prioritization:Adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and environments, accurately judging priorities and managing multiple workstreams and resources to meet delivery targets.Operational Excellence:Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in project delivery, manage resources and financials effectively, and ensure flawless execution of transactions and services.Records Management:Maintain working knowledge and application of company records management policies and procedures, ensuring all project documentation is compliant and accessible.Service Delivery Effectiveness:Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of service delivery, ensuring that project milestones, issues, risks, and financial status are regularly reported and meet agreed standards.Time Management:Structure and control use of time to most effectively accomplish work, projects, and goals, ensuring priorities are clearly understood and target delivery dates are achieved.Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve issues that prevent or slow down portfolio review, determining possible resolutions and implementing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.Requirements:
Proficiency in English (verbal & written) is a must.Proficiency in Spanish is strongly valuable. Any other European Language would be highly valued (Dutch, German, French, or Italian)Demonstrable insurance industry expertise and appreciation of working with different cultures and time zones.Applicable working knowledge of rapid change delivery processes.Customer focus.Formal project management qualification and extensive experience managing large projects across multiple locations, ideally within the insurance industry.Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs, especially MS Excel. (Formulas, Pivot Tables…)Experience with business change methodologies. e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Lean, Six Sigma, PRINCE2Experience in global organizations is an advantage.Proven communication, documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Successful track record in multi-cultural and complex political environments.
