This role requires you to work onsite from Bogotá, Colombia (Salitre area).

Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is integral to our development process. They consistently deliver actionable insights that help our game teams optimize software performance and elevate gameplay.

You will join us as a Development Manager, reporting to the Development Director. 

You will work closely with the FC Live team, overseeing QA project planning and execution with studio partners. You will collaborate with development teams and QA peers to coordinate project schedules, strategize tests, and manage project metrics. You will be an essential part of the knowledge transfer process and communication with the game team and partner groups. In partnership with QA leaders, you will work towards enhancing QA practices, sharing expertise, and advocating for game design and implementation.


Responsibilities:

Oversee project schedules and ensure timely delivery of milestonesModify priorities on the fly based on critical changesBalance scope, timelines, and overall project qualityIdentify and mitigate risks, manage blockers, prioritize tasks, and ensure project goals are metEnsure effective reporting to leadership and stakeholdersCollaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, including developers, analysts, and producersConduct regular meetings, such as stand-ups and planning sessions, to align team effortsCommunicate project expectations and progress updates effectivelyEncourage partner engagementDetermine and manage resource requirements for the projectHandle capacity planning, scheduling, and tracking of tasksManage, mentor, and support QA team membersConduct performance reviews, career development, and trainingFoster a collaborative and productive team environment


Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience3+ years of experience in project management or team leadership roles in QA2+ years of people management experienceExperience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban) and bug tracking toolsUnderstanding of software development processesStakeholder management and communication skillsExperience with white-box/gray-box testing techniquesFluent in English both verbal and written
