Job Description

You will have responsibility for planning, controlling and managing project deliverables with high complexity for a portfolio of software projects. You will guide communication between our company and the customer through an entire project life-cycle, from order acceptance by Rockwell Automation to customer approval. To ensure that customer satisfaction, margin targets, and quality standards are achieved, project scope, schedule, and budget details and efforts of team members and third-party vendors must be managed. You will collaborate across departments including sales, solutions engineering, product development, finance, and operations.

Your Responsibilities:

Commercial project achievement and leadership in software solutions business, specifically Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions.You will lead and motivate a geographically dispersed engineering and project delivery team by using collaboration tools.You will have commercial savviness with the ability to understand the customer's viewpoint while navigating a path to a mutually successful project for both the customer and Rockwell Automation.You will be responsible for negotiation of scope changes and detailed sub-contractor statement of work definitions.Primary interface with customer, sales and other Rockwell Automation entities for assigned projects.Lead decision-making process in larger teams with experienced domain experts.Demonstrate commitment in every aspect of the business with an uncompromising approach on ethics and transparency, internally and externally.Have an understanding and the ability to discuss the financial aspects of project management: forecasting, cost tracking, percentage completion, revenue recognition, and project accounting.Manage subcontracts including contract labor and fixed price deliverables.

You will report to a local Team Lead and work hybrid.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

Bachelor's DegreeMinimum 5 years of experience with direct customer project management including all aspects of scope, schedule, quality, and financial management.Flexibility regarding working time to meet customer project commitments and communicate with a global team is required.The ability to travel 15% of the time.Excellent verbal and written English language skills.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Life Sciences industry knowledge.Success working in an environment with many priorities where constructive feedback from others is encouraged and expected.Conflict resolution and collaboration skills.Experience managing single customer projects or multi project portfolio of up to $5 million.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
