Project Manager - Lending
Job Description Lead end-to-end project planning and delivery, owning scope, schedule, and budget Maintain project plans, RAID, decisions, and status; drive on-time milestone completion Coordinate across business, technology, testing/UAT, architecture, risk/compliance, and vendors Prepare and deliver executive status (RAG, milestones, risks, asks) and steering pack materials Enforce change control, manage dependencies, and ensure traceability from requirements to release Support implementation planning, cutover, hypercare, and benefits realization tracking We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 5–7 years of Project Management in banking/financial services Clarity Experience Project finances: budgeting, tracking, variance analysis, accruals Issues/Risks/Schedule management with clear mitigation and executive reporting Excellent written & verbal communication; senior stakeholder and vendor coordination Proficiency with enterprise PM tools (Clarity PPM preferred), MS Project/Smartsheet, RAID tracking Ability to work onsite in downtown Chicago as needed (if selected local) Prior BMO experience or large North American bank PMO experience Experience in Business Banking, lending, servicing, or operations transformations Familiarity with Agile ceremonies and Waterfall stage gates (hybrid environments)
