Project Manager - Lending
Job Description Lead and manage lending-related projects from initiation through delivery Coordinate with business units, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and status reports Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies Facilitate meetings, prepare executive-level presentations, and ensure clear communication across stakeholders Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal governance standards Support testing, implementation, and post-go-live activities for lending systems We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in banking or financial services Proven experience managing lending-related projects (e.g., loan origination, credit systems, lending platforms) Strong understanding of lending workflows, compliance, and regulatory requirements Expertise in project planning, governance, and execution within a matrixed environment Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Proficiency with Clarity Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies Previous experience working with BMO or similar Canadian banking institutions Familiarity with digital lending platforms and integrations Agile and Waterfall methodology experience Knowledge of vendor management and third-party integrations PMP or similar certification
