**Your role and responsibilities**
As a successful Project Manager in Technology Expert Labs, you will lead a team of technical experts to ensure the formulation, development, and implementation of projects that meet and exceed the client's business objectives. In this role, you will work closely with client stakeholders and the IBM team to meet the overall integrated solution plan, budget, schedule, and staffing requirements while exceeding your client's expectations. Project Managers at IBM succeed by demonstrating a natural bias towards self-motivation and initiative in addition to navigating data and people to find answers and presenting solutions.

Opportunity management - ensure project management tool is set up correctly, and keep it up to date during delivery
Contract initiation - ensure correct project coding and financial setup; remove obstacles from successful and timely project launch; support subcontractor on-boarding
Project execution - track and report project KPIs; manage / update POs; keep project documentation up to date; maintain project hours reconciliation including time sheet approval; maintain project health and hygiene
Contract Maintenance / Invoicing - updates / extend projects in close collaboration with Delivery and Sales Teams; prepare and execute invoicing activities; maximize backlog utilization; initiate and manage contract closure; support disputes
Reporting and analytics - reconcile revenue actuals versus forecast; support Delivery Team with regular and ad-hoc reports; support audit inquiries
Insights and Team success - utilize analytics tools, dashboards, reports to identify areas for improvement; continuously expand IBM project management skills, and actively participate in the Project Management community to share best practices; work in cross-functional teams to develop business
**Required technical and professional expertise**
· Advanced MS Office or project management tools knowledge
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Fluent in English language written and oral.
· Advanced in German language written and oral
· Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Basic understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
· Ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously
· Ability to follow defined processes while adapting to change
· Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
· Have initiative to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
· Accountability, reliability, and follow-through
· Customer-focused mindset with attention to service quality
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
· Basic data analysis and reporting skills
· Certifications for project/program management
· Familiarity with KPIs, and service performance metrics
