The Opportunity This is a role based in Cali, Colombia.The I&D Project Manager is accountable for the end to end (E2E) management of regional pharmaceutical development projects, from Business Case definition through development, registration, manufacturing readiness, and launch across LATAM markets.What You’ll DoThe Project Manager acts as the single point of accountability for overall project performance, driving alignment, decision making, and execution across all phases of the project lifecycle.The role is also fully responsible for Planisware as the end to end project management system, ensuring accurate, timely, and executive level reporting of project timelines, milestones, budgets, risks, and KPIs, and translating project status into clear, decision ready insights for senior leadership.End to End Project Leadership Own the E2E execution of multiple I&D / EPD projects, from Business Case approval to product launch.Lead the definition of project scope, strategy, deliverables, milestones, timelines, risks, and dependencies.Ensure alignment between regional strategy and project execution.Act as the single point of accountability for project performance.Project Planning, Execution & ControlDevelop and maintain detailed E2E project plans including development, regulatory, tech transfer, and launch readiness.Monitor project progress vs plan, proactively identifying risks, providing mitigation actions, minimizing delays, or cost deviations.Define and implement risk mitigation and contingency plans.Manage changes in scope (e.g. market inclusions) and assess impact on cost, timelines, and resources.Technical & Feasibility AssessmentsCoordinate feasibility evaluations for internal development, contract development and others.Lead cross functional inputs for: Development costs, Preliminary COGs, CAPEX and project timeline estimationCoordinate API sourcing strategy, supplier evaluation, and alignment across Procurement, Development, Quality and Regulatory.Cross Functional & Stakeholder ManagementLead cross functional and matrix teams without direct authority.Drive collaboration, accountability, and decision making across functions.Lead Business Case reviews, kick off meetings, governance reviews, and regular project team meetings.Communicate clearly and transparently with stakeholders at different levels, including senior leadership.Project reportingMaintain Planisware as the official E2E project management system.Ensure data accuracy and alignment with LATAM and Global reporting requirements.Translate project status into clear executive dashboards and decision ready insights.Prepare and submit monthly project status and budget reports according to EPD governance.Required Qualifications Pharmacist, Chemist, Engineer or related scientific discipline (required)
MBA and/or Project Management certification (PMI, PMP) preferred
Advanced English proficiency required.Experience:
10+ years in the pharmaceutical industry, including experience in development, regulatory, and end to end project management roles.Proven experience managing multi country / regional LATAM projectsPosition Accountability/Scope
