Job Description
As a Project Manager I, you will provide exceptional customer service and innovative solutions to customers and manufacturer representatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring that we maintain our reputation for industry-leading service.
Responsibilities
Understand the lighting supply chain and provide accurate, timely quotations and processed orders with minimal supervision.Foster positive and attentive interactions both internally and externally, while taking complete ownership of projects to drive successful sales outcomes.Read through detailed, complex drawings and provide accurate take-offs.Quote and coordinate sample opportunities with representatives to help secure project specifications.Maintain the required volume of quotes and orders processed for your workload.Actively maintain project follow-ups in Salesforce.Coordinate and execute sales marketing campaigns, specifically through phone calls to representatives.Attend regular product-specific training sessions to expand your knowledge base.Begin training on competing companies and their products as well as more complex technical aspects of our products.Train and perform technical support for intermediate tech calls from installers.Become familiar with key industry terms and project flow.Investigate and familiarize yourself with key customers in the network.Participate in department and company feedback opportunities and team meetings.Essential Skills
1-3 years of lighting inside sales experience.3+ years of inside sales experience across all communication platforms.3+ years of customer-facing experience across all communication platforms.Proficiency in Miro, QuickBooks, Salesforce, G-Suite, Vizio, Microsoft 365, Lucidchart, Monday.com, and Smartsheets.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Bluebeam is a bonus.1+ year of customer-facing experience across all communication platforms is preferred.Some general knowledge of LED lighting and construction is preferred.Ability to communicate at a high level and prioritize customer needs.Work Environment
The work schedule is from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility as projects demand. Occasional overtime may be required. The position is onsite, with eligibility for one day of remote work or a flexible schedule after one year of employment. The office environment is casual, with a team-oriented, supportive, and friendly atmosphere. It is a dog-friendly office, but approval is required to bring a dog. The office is well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned, and has adequate ventilation. The atmosphere is fun and engaging, with monthly engagement events such as lunches, bingo, karaoke, and holiday parties.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake Oswego, OR.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.85 - $34.00/hr.
