Daikin Applied is seeking a Project Manager I in Ohio. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating of activities of the designated projects to ensure the goals and/or objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through peers/subordinate supervisors. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!

What you will do: 

Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applicationsReview project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of projectEstablish work plan and staffing for each phase of project and arranges for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as required/necessaryConsult with project staff to outline work plan and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authorityCoordinate project activities regarding government regulatory or other governmental agencies such as required project permittingReview status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies; milestones, project analysis through required project documentation such as AIA.Establish a professional relationship with the customer and interfaces constantly to maintain accurate status reports and project reviewsPrepare project reports for management, client, or othersMaintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completionEnsure timely completion of assigned projects and customer satisfactionMaintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and communicating with customers and assigned staff.Obtain acceptance and timely sign-off of the project by the customer.Responsible for the successful completion of the project.Assist Coordinator team in obtaining required sub-contract agreements or project documents required for file.

Minimum Qualifications: 

4 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience2+ years project management experienceExperience in commercial HVAC project managementExperience supporting data centers is preferred Ability to travel up to 50%

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $80,400 - $130,000 plus bonus in Ohio. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
