This Position reports to:

Operations Manager

 

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications, and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the oversight of team development and process improvement to continually increase the effectiveness of project execution, especially in smaller units.

The work model for the role is: Hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

Leads the project team, establishes the project execution approach, and oversees project hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring and control activities for both internal and external resources in order to accomplish all project goals.Ensures that the project consistently applies contract and claims management in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreementsMonitors and controls project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses, and cash flow.Ensures that required procurement activities for services, materials, and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers are performed by the assigned resources.Identifies, qualifies, quantifies, and manages project risks and ensures that all opportunities are identified and pursued. Qualifications for the RoleTechnical qualification in Mechanical or Electrical EngineeringMust have 4 – 6 years relevant experiencePMP certification will be an advantageExperience in managing a teamSAP and MS Office KnowledgeYou are at ease communicating in EnglishExperience in managing projects on project sites will be an advantage
