Position Description:

In the role of Project Manager you will be responsible for managing our local and/or international projects, with the use of internal and external resources including, but not limited to the following tasks:

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Business and Customer Relationship Management
• Communicate with the customer during each stage of the project life-cycle (bid preparation, project definition and planning, project delivery, implementation, integration and acceptance testing, cutover planning and execution, hyper-care support and project completion)
• Take responsibility and manage the project team including customers and potential subcontractors, actively coordinate their work along the project delivery
• Identify potential incremental business opportunities with the client
• Establish and maintain very good work relationship with the client; ensure project meets the client’s expectations and results in client’s satisfaction

Project Process and People Management
• Managing initialization, planning, realization and finishing processes, assessment of project delivery priorities, change and risk management processes details and clarifies the project scope, secures the necessary resources and plans and monitors all necessary activities
• Responsibility for assigning resources, time management and budget, Monitoring and control team performance against each element of the work-breakdown structure
• Act as the primary point of contact for the project delivery. Manage the project stakeholders effectively within the client, internal organization and third-parties
• Control resources and costs against the project budget. Ensure that change control procedures are actively used to assess and manage the impact of proposed changes to the project on costs, timescales and scope
• Delivery of project deliverables in time, budget and required quality
• Identification of critical points and concluding a way of their elimination
• Motivate the staff, conduct the regular review meetings with the team members; participate on staff’s career development and performance evaluation

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• A proven international customer project management experience with responsibility in all project phases is essential
• Track record of leading the end-to-end delivery of projects within complex IT systems implementation and integration environment
• A proven track record of leading SAP implementation projects
• Exceptional personal initiative, leadership, motivational and organizational skills, as well as well-developed planning and communication skills.
• Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills in customer facing environments
• University degree
• 5+ years of experience in project management
• PMI or PRINCE certification and knowledge of SAP implementation methodology
• Fluent English language (both written and spoken), Czech or Slovak
• Willingness to travel
• Excellent time management and priority setting; a pragmatic, flexible and customer oriented team player, willing to share ideas and happy with virtual collaboration
