**Your Future Role**
Manage orders and projects according to customer requirements, factory capabilities and corporate guidelines. This position currently manages orders and projects from customers for large electric motors built in Norwood, Ohio, for the Chemical, Oil & Gas, Mining, Power and similar industrial users. Success requires excellent communication skills, the ability to learn and perform order management processes, thrive in a matrix organization, and partner with customers, sales channels, and internal departments to manage the information flow among all order/project stakeholders.
This position is based in Norwood, OH and will have a hybrid work schedule.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop or support the development of project/program plans for semi-complex orders and projects of
+ Engineered products
+ Synchronize activities of the order / project team to meet contractual requirements
+ Coordinate the flow of information to and from the customer
+ Participate in project management activities (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and
+ resource allocation management) for orders and semi-complex projects
+ Participate in continuous improvement activities
+ Have or quickly gain knowledge about electric motor order management to include: Product options,
+ customer requirements, and Siemens guidelines and procedures.
+ Facilitate technical review meetings with responsibility for documenting scope changes, action items, and
+ decisions made
+ Simultaneously support multiple orders and customer requirements
+ Support sales activities and build/maintain both internal and external customer relationships
**Your Profile**
**Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience:**
+ BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ 5-8 years of successful experience in order or project management
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Demonstrated strong time management skills
+ Detail oriented. Able to review product characteristics to identify specific traits and create accurate
+ documentation based on reviewed data
+ A high level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and related software is required.
+ Beneficial (not initial requirement): SAP, MS Access, MS Project experience
+ Experience facilitating external and internal customer/vendor interactions to achieve a common
+ understanding of a topic
+ Demonstrated grasp of the relevancy and interaction of manufacturing operational processes such as
+ Procurement, Scheduling, Quality and Engineering
+ Demonstrated success as a member or leader of a Project Team
+ The candidate must be self-motivated and have experience in working in a corporate environment
+ Adherence to timelines, schedules and deliverables is a critical competency
+ Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
**Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:**
+ Beneficial (not required): Electric motor market experience, mechanical/electrical Engineering, PMP certification
+ Demonstrated proficiency in Lean Manufacturing topics
The pay range for this position is $71,300 - $122,300. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
