Project Manager Cust Mktg

The Project Manager plays a key role in developing and executing integrated marketing programs and customized sales support materials that drive customer growth and retention. This role is responsible for managing campaigns from concept to deployment, collaborating across functions, and delivering tailored, customer-centric marketing experiences. It offers exposure to a variety of marketing channels and business areas.

The right candidate will bring a combination of strong project management skills, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to balance high volumes of projects with tactical execution. The candidate will work closely with a variety of cross-functional partners from marketing operations, analytics to creative for campaign deployments and the Sales organization to develop high-impact materials that win new business, grow existing accounts, and represent the Staples brand with consistency and clarity.

What you’ll be doing:

Drive Customer Growth Programs
Support initiatives from campaign planning to execution, ensuring flawless delivery across email, paid media, website, and other channels.Enable Sales Through Targeted Marketing
Create tailored marketing materials that help sellers win new business, expand within accounts, or deliver persuasive customer facing decks.Streamline Sales Support
Build scalable processes and prioritization frameworks to handle seller requests. Audit and optimize marketing templates to meet evolving needs in collaboration with the Creative team.Collaborate Cross-Functionally
Partner with Sales, Digital Sales, Vertical/Category Marketing, Creative, and Analytics teams to deliver personalized marketing campaigns and sales enablement content. Update digital sales tools (e.g., Allego) to ensure materials remain accessible and up to date.Support Account-Based Marketing Strategy
Leverage ABM tactics to create customized collateral and campaigns for high-value accounts. Help educate sellers on available marketing assets and guide engagement strategies within key verticals.Lead Campaign Execution and Tracking
Draft creative briefs, manage timelines, collect feedback, proof all materials, and give final approval. Collaborate with Analytics and Ops to define customer segments and review post-campaign insights.Ensure Marketing Excellence
Maintain high quality, brand-compliant, relevant content in all customer-facing materials. Proactively address campaign risks and provide timely updates to stakeholders.

Strong project management skills with a keen attention to detail and an ability to juggle multiple priorities at onceBackground in customer lifecycle marketing, campaign execution, and sales enablement programsAbility to think creatively, adapt quickly, and influence without authority in a cross-functional environmentExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated experience working closely with sales organizations and developing custom marketing solutionsHighly organized with a proactive and problem-solving mindsetAbility to manage both strategic planning and day-to-day tactical execution

What’s needed – Basic Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in a related field (project management, marketing, or communications)Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline3+ years of experience in Account-Based Marketing or Sales EnablementFamiliarity with project management tools and marketing platformsProven success in developing and executing customer-focused marketing programs
