Job Description

Allied Universal® Technology Services is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, organization, direction, and oversight of project activities related to electronic security system installations. Key responsibilities of the project manager include managing project schedules, overseeing field installations, coordinating commissioning and quality assurance processes, and overall financial performance. The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of projects through strong communication, strategic planning, and effective project execution. Construction experience is highly preferred.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and manage projects to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and timely execution within budgetMonitor and control project budgets, including full P&L responsibility, collection efforts, and accurate invoicing through ERP systemsSupervise installation teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality work on large and complex systemsMaintain timely and strategic communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams to align efforts with business goalsImplement change orders and adapt installation and pricing plans as neededPlan and schedules engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on large and/or complex systemsIdentify, troubleshoot, and resolve project issues using financial, contractual, and operational tools to maintain profitability, engaging leadership as neededDevelop contingency plans and proactively manage risks to ensure project successMaintain construction schedules and coordinate task scheduling with other tradesEnsure accurate records of job status, job changes, and material flow throughout the projectConduct site walks and attend on-site customer meetings

 

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

A minimum of three (3) years of project management, engineering, or field service experienceA minimum of two (2) years of electronic security and/or construction experienceHigh school diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid Driver’s License with at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record (no major violations within last 36 months, no more than 1 accident in last 24 months, no more than one minor moving violation in last 24 months), a minimum level of insurance as required by Company policy, and the ability to safely operate a company-issued vehicleProficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint)Leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, as well as manage delivery timeframesAbility to manage multiple projects, work independently, and meet deadlines

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

PMP CertificationFactory certifications in relevant technology platforms are a plus (AMAG, Lenel, S2, Software House, Brivo, Avigilon, AXIS, Exacqvision, Milestone, DMP, Bosch, etc.)Associate’s Degree in Business, Technology, or related fieldSolid knowledge of PM techniques and tools, general knowledge of contract laws and regulationsExperience managing multiple project (portfolio) of at least $1MKnowledge of PM Workbench or similar softwareProject Management experience in the electronic security industry field

 

Pay: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
