Project Manager - Commercial Solutions Division

Job Description:

This is not your typical Project Manager role.  If you're looking for a position where you can quietly manage timelines and push paper, this isn't it.

How you will make an impact:

Partner with marketing team to help define the scope for future Miller products and accessories.Develop and execute project plans leveraging Voice of Customer (Miller’s Customer-Backed Innovation) framework.Lead cross-functional project teams through all stages of the development process.Challenge assumptions with confidence.Leverage instincts to identify issues and respond before they surface.

What you need to be successful in this role:

Strong business acumen – Appreciation for manufacturing, logistics, finance, and regulatory-heavy environments gives you the foundation to synthesize input from all sides and guide the team toward smart, timely decisions.Roll up your sleeves attitude – If you know your way around a welding torch, woodworking bench, engine bay, or home renovation project, you’ll feel right at home.  Experience with PCB manufacturing and/or manufacturing engineering is a plus.Strategic mindset – Anticipate future trends, while translating those insights into actionable strategy.Customer focus – A passion to facilitate identifying customer needs and ensuring solutions align with what customers truly value.Build credibility – Earn buy-in from a wide range of personalities, keep teams aligned, and bring focus to the fast-paced setting.Drive accountability – Influence the actions, behaviors, and mindset of others to drive to project timelines, delivering expected results.Excellent communication skills – The ability to effectively communicate and connect with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Minimum education and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred), other technical field, or business administration (considered); MBA (preferred)

• 5+ years required, 10+ years preferred, of experience successfully leading product development activities
