The Project Manager is responsible for driving projects to completion by coordinating cross-functional activities and ensuring that all departments are accountable for deliverables while meeting delivery deadlines for development projects and manufacturing campaigns across all service levels for Aldevron clients.
This position reports to Manager, Project Management and is part of the Project Management Team located in Fargo, ND and will be on-site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Act as a critical point of contact for clients by leading project team meetings, ensuring follow-up of actions items, and escalating issues when required.Use critical thinking to proactively identify project barriers, generate solutions to problems and/or escalate issues internally and externally as required.Maintain project documentation including project plan timelines, status reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.Effectively communicate and interact with internal and external teams providing project updates, changes in project scope, timing, or requirements while maintaining confidentiality.Identify opportunities for, contribute to, and lead training and/or process improvement initiatives.
The essential requirements of the job include:
B.S. or B.A. required, life sciences degree highly preferred.Prefer 3-5 years of experience in project management. Experience managing client-facing projects requiredExperience in a regulated biotechnology or pharmaceutical field or CDMO strongly preferredUnderstanding of GMP product manufacturing from initiation through release capabilities preferred.This role could require travel of 10%+
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
