Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to oversee the implementation of manufacturing strategies and manage the transfer and assessment of current products in the medical device sector, specifically focusing on venous thromboembolism clot removal. This role demands accountability for all design transfer activities, ensuring timely, high-quality, and budget-conscious product delivery.
ResponsibilitiesLead and manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring adherence to specifications and budget.Oversee all design transfer activities to ensure on-time, in-scope, and quality product delivery.Manage project and product costs while identifying and mitigating risks.Motivate and activate project team members to achieve project goals within set timelines.Collaborate with R&D, production teams, and suppliers to understand customer needs and ensure successful project implementation.Innovate and improve project management tools and PMO governance.Ensure stakeholder alignment and resource prioritization.Monitor employee performance and address any workflow issues.Conduct reviews and spot checks on deliverables.Utilize formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.Essential SkillsProven project management experience in the medical device industry.Strong experience in engineering and manufacturing/quality processes.Expertise in stakeholder alignment and resource prioritization.Experience with change orders and engineering change requests.Bachelor's degree in Engineering.6-8+ years of project management experience.PMP certification or equivalent preferred.Additional Skills & QualificationsProfessional mastery of a specialized field of expertise.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent analytical skills and evaluative judgment.Experience with venous thromboembolism products is a plus.Work Environment

This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
