Our client, an organization dedicated to advancing sustainable energy solutions and agricultural innovation, is seeking a Project Manager Agrivoltaics to join their team.
As a Project Manager Agrivoltaics, you will be part of the Environmental Research Department supporting Agrivoltaics Project Management Support and will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and resourcefulness, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Project Manager Agrivoltaics
**Location:** NYS | Remote | Once a month travel to Albany will be required
**Pay Range:** $55-$60/HR (Depending on experience)
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage a portfolio of multi-year Agrivoltaic Research and Demonstration projects, including tracking tasks and reviewing deliverables and invoices.
+ Support management of the NYS Agricultural Technical Working Group and specialized committees.
+ Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to advance solar-agricultural research, technology innovation, and market analysis.
+ Engage with external stakeholders to promote policies at the intersection of solar energy development and agriculture in New York State.
+ Develop strategies to communicate scientific and policy information effectively to diverse audiences, including policymakers and agricultural stakeholders.
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience in contract management, preferably with solar or agricultural projects.
+ Working knowledge of New York State agricultural policies, practices, and key stakeholders.
+ Relevant experience in agricultural-environmental or energy-related environmental issues.
+ Strong problem-solving, resourcefulness, and adaptability skills.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
