Project Manager Accounts Receivable

For our Global Business Process Excellence Department we are seeking to recruit a Project Manager Accounts Receivable (f/m/d).


As a an Accounts Receivable Project Manager, you will be responsible for the identification of gaps between existing processes and the global business processes defined by the Global Process Owner (GPO) as well as for launching and monitoring of process improvement initiatives. An extension of the process responsibility to the sales area is desirable and advantageous in case of proved professional qualifications.
In this role you will support the GPOs during the SAP S/4HANA project, to ensure that the entire Business Process Excellence business processes are fully converted into SAP S/4HANA. You will also support to develop process-based solution proposals with the target to achieve the highest possible added value from the SAP S/4HANA conversion and thus a high level of end user satisfaction within the Global Business Process Excellence community and other business departments involved.


This position is located in Heidelberg and you will report to the Director Global Business Process Excellence.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE

Close collaboration with the Global Process Owners

Proactive cooperation with the entire Group SSC Team to share information, get guidance
and document results

Develop and maintain business policies which drive our processes

Ensure compliance, standardization and harmonized processes across business lines

Understand business user needs and processes to suggest efficient end-to-end
enhancements in close alignment with the GPO, Group Departments and Digital

Improve existing processes wherever possible with SAP S/4HANA to reach highly efficient performance indicators

Launching projects to identify best practices and to transfer the best-in-class solutions to the SSCs

Communicate and facilitate discussions with all involved parties, prepare and hold presentations to drive solutions on proposed features and functionalities

Work with IT teams to ensure good fit to existing Infrastructure technologies and applications (where applicable), to obtain project budgets

Ensure the delivery of high-quality transaction processes

Willingness to travel to business offices as appropriate and as necessary

Deliver process related trainings

Rollout / support of process related software tools
 

YOUR PROFILE

Education/Qualification

University degree

3 years’ experience in business process improvement initiatives, accounting background (accounts receivable) and/or shared service center processes

High IT affinity and skills required, especially SAP ECC and ideally in SAP S/4HANA, workflow systems

Business Competence

Strong leadership skills

Substantial accounting experience; IFRS knowledge

Excellent process knowledge in Invoice-To-Cash (accounts receivable, credit

management)

Very good verbal and written communication skills in English

Strong analytical and technical skills
