The Project Manager oversees all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) activities across the construction lifecycle, from design through commissioning. The role ensures that all MEP systems are planned, coordinated, and executed to meet design intent, quality standards, safety requirements, timelines, and budget expectations while working closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and clients.Job Description
About the Role:
Overseads end‑to‑end MEP planning and coordination, ensuring design compliance, system integration, and alignment with project and code requirements.Manages site execution of all MEP installations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, BMS), supervising subcontractors to ensure work meets approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.Ensures quality and regulatory compliance through inspections, technical review of submittals, and adherence to local building codes and client specifications.Controls MEP budgets by preparing cost estimates, reviewing vendor quotations and bills, and implementing value‑engineering measures to prevent cost overruns.Leads testing and commissioning, team supervision, and client coordination—providing technical guidance, resolving design/execution issues, and ensuring proper documentation and handover.About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.Over 10 years of experience in MEP design, execution, and project management within the construction industry.Proven ability to manage and deliver large‑scale commercial, industrial, and residential projects.Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems.Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.Why join Cushman & Wakefield?
