We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Project Manager. As an integral part of our Bids and Project team, you will play a crucial role in promoting Thales as a trusted partner to the Japan Self Defense Force (JSDF) and Ministry of Defense (MOD), delivering on all key milestones.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring successful transition and project launchExecute, monitor, and control projects to ensure timely completion and adherence to budgets and financial structuresOversee defense contract procedures, including quotations, bids, contracts, deliveries, and paymentsFoster strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and industrial partnersAnticipate and resolve any issues or risks that may impact project deliveryProvide local support to Thales Global Business Units, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitabilitySupport the generation of future orders and maintain customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycleProjects are delivered with the highest quality standards and in accordance with contractual requirementsDocument preparation, including translation from English to Japanese and vice versa

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering related discipline5 to 10 years of project management experience, delivering large projects in a technically complex environmentExperience in the delivery of industrial or hardware projectsStrong supply chain management skillsExperience working with the Ministry of Defense (MOD) and knowledge of its processesBid management experience is a plusBusiness-level proficiency in English (verbal and written)Strong organizational skills, self-motivated, and a team playerAble to do frequent travel within Japan or overseas (duration of 1-2 weeks)Due to project requirements, Japanese citizenship is mandatory

要件：

工学関連分野の学士号技術的に複雑な環境で大規模プロジェクトを遂行する、5～10 年のプロジェクト管理経験産業またはハードウェアプロジェクトの実施経験強力なサプライチェーン管理スキル国防省と協力した経験とそのプロセスに関する知識入札管理の経験があれば尚可ビジネスレベルの英語能力（読み書き及び会話）強力な組織力、自発性、チームプレイヤーである頻繁に国内または海外に出張できる方（1～2週間程度）プロジェクトの要件により、日本国籍が必須となります
