ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS Academic Qualifications: University degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture or Project Management. Complementary training in sustainability, renewable energy or environmental remediation will be highly valued.
Professional Experience: Minimum 7 years managing complex urban development or infrastructure projects, with demonstrable experience in at least 3 of the following areas: industrial rehabilitation, soil decontamination, renewable energy, urbanisation or public services management. Previous experience with budgets exceeding €10M.
Highly Valued Experience: Specific experience in large-scale housing development projects will be very positively valued, including management of multifamily residential developments and coordination with property developers.
Demonstrable experience in energy projects, specifically in large-scale electrical installations, commercial/residential solar photovoltaic systems and/or geothermal projects for heating and cooling residential and tertiary buildings.
Knowledge and experience in industrialised construction and prefabricated housing, including modular façade elements, prefabricated bathrooms, modular kitchens and other industrialised construction systems. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, installation logistics and coordination with specialised prefabrication suppliers.
Specialised Knowledge: Solid knowledge of Spanish environmental regulations, especially in soil decontamination and industrial waste management. Familiarity with renewable energy systems (photovoltaic and geothermal) and grid connection regulations. Understanding of municipal licensing processes for mixed residential-tertiary developments. Knowledge of technical regulations for prefabricated elements and quality certifications in industrialised construction.
KEY COMPETENCIES Multidisciplinary Complexity Management: Exceptional ability to coordinate projects with multiple simultaneous technical specialities, managing complex interdependencies and risks associated with sequencing specialised works, particularly in integrating prefabricated systems with energy
infrastructures.
Innovative Construction Expertise: Deep understanding of industrialised construction methodologies, prefabrication process optimisation and management of specialised supply chains. Ability to integrate prefabricated solutions with complex energy systems whilst maintaining efficiency and quality.
Integral Energy Coordination: Ability to manage the integration of multiple energy systems (electrical, solar photovoltaic and geothermal) with the specific needs of a 900-home residential development, ensuring energy efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Complex Stakeholder Management: Ability to manage multiple stakeholders including public administrations, utility companies, specialised remediation contractors, property developers, prefabricated element manufacturers and local communities.
Leadership in Technical Environments: Ability to lead highly specialised technical teams, facilitating collaboration between diverse disciplines (traditional construction, prefabrication, renewable energy) and maintaining excellence standards across all specialities.
