Project Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this long-term contract role, you will oversee and execute critical projects within the financial services sector, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with organizational goals. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively. Responsibilities: • Direct and oversee project planning, execution, and delivery within the financial services industry. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget. • Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring smooth operations. • Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders to report progress and address challenges. • Implement formal project management methodologies to enhance processes and efficiency. • Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to leadership. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, including ERISA when applicable. • Facilitate project meetings, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus among team members. • Coordinate resources and allocate tasks to maximize productivity. • Uphold project documentation standards and maintain accurate records. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in project management. • Proven expertise in formal project management methodologies. • PMP certification is required. • Strong ability to manage cross-functional teams and projects. • Familiarity with employee benefits, including ERISA compliance. • Excellent problem-solving and risk management skills. • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities. • Proficiency in project planning tools and software.
