Project Manager

Al Ain, UAE

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our Stormwater PMC team in Al Ain Region! In this role you will get to contribute to the transformation of Al Ain.

What You'll Be Doing:

Working closely with the client to deliver key projectsWorking closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure their requirements are metWorking with senior leaders to develop a delivery modelResponsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the projectOversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as requiredEstablishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to these criteriaResponsible for the development and distribution of a summary description of the project to all members of the project team for referencePlans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned projectAssigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates after careful assessment of how to utilize their qualifications and strengths.  Provides input to performance reviews and development plans for subordinatesMobilizes company resources, through liaison with support departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality workDiscusses the qualifications required of the key project positions in specific detail with the profit center and department managersWorks with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a projectEnsures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plansWorks with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of workAdvises the client and company management of any such changesThe Project Manager is specifically responsible for maintaining current and timely change ordersPromotes technical and commercial excellence on the project through application of Quality Assurance processesMonitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or scheduleEstablishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate action itemsPerforms other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering. A master’s degree or PMP certification is highly desirableMinimum of 10 years of experience managing utility programs or large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on stormwaterAn ability to work in a team environmentExcellent communication skillsAn ability to develop collaborative relationshipsExperience in the delivery or wet infrastructure projectsProven experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources for large, complex utility projects.Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for utility infrastructureWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Ability to effectively present information to key stakeholders as required by the client.Experience in PMC projectsUnderstanding of the PMC, construction and design delivery process and the functions inherent to construction management of large-scaled projects.Ability to interface with all levels with project team, client, and othersAbility to function in a multi-organizational environment by developing relationships that complies with the client’s proactive, collaborative cultureThorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations are required
