**Job Description**
**AECOM** Buildings + Places is seeking a dynamic, open minded “can-do” **Project Manager** who is defined by their passion and persistence in delivering and winning architectural and engineering design services.
As a Project Manager at **AECOM** , you will manage one or more moderately complex projects, ensuring successful delivery from inception to close-out. You will oversee project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and change management while fostering strong client relationships. This role involves working independently on most assignments, with technical guidance provided for unique or complex challenges.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring timely completion within authorized budgets and required quality standards.
+ Regularly report to clients on project status through schedule updates, meeting minutes, financial records, and other reports.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure alignment with project objectives.
+ Provide oversight to the change management process, ensuring changes are documented, approved, and implemented effectively.
+ Lead and mentor project staff, peer reviewing their deliverables and fostering their professional growth.
+ Manage project budgets and finances, including preparing invoices and financial reports.
+ Develop strong client relationships, representing their best interests with respect to contractual and technical issues.
+ Ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as AECOM’s core values of safety, ethics, and sustainability.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) AND 2 years of relevant experience OR demonstrated equivalency of relevant experience and education.
+ Proven ability to manage moderately complex projects independently, with basic instruction provided for specific assignments.
+ Strong technical knowledge and experience in project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
**Preferred Qualifications & Skills**
+ Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.
+ Experience managing projects involving multiple services or sectors such as transportation, defense, or buildings.
+ Familiarity with program and project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration.
+ Proficiency in project management tools, including MS Project, Word, and Excel.
+ Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams effectively.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $82000 to $115000.
