Project Manager

Role Overview

The Project Manager IV will lead risk management activities within the MP portfolio of projects. This role focuses on identifying, assessing, responding to, monitoring, and controlling project risks, while enabling timely, risk-based decision-making and establishing corrective actions when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate early risk and opportunity identification, assessment, and response planning sessions during project planning.

Lead the development of templates, processes, and execution strategies for project risk management.

Monitor risk response progress and address emerging risks proactively.

Build and analyze schedule risk models to assess the probability of meeting project In-Service Dates.

Partner with project teams to drive risk-based decision-making and problem-solving.

Maintain and update the risk register, generating regular risk reports.

Perform ongoing cost and schedule reviews, including impact assessments for project changes.

Conduct constructability reviews to identify and mitigate execution challenges.

Support contingency estimation and calibration for projects.

Lead lessons learned sessions, issue resolution, trend analysis, and ensure key takeaways are communicated across project teams.
Qualifications
8+ years of relevant project risk management experience.

Proven ability to manage risk processes within large, complex projects.

Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Experience with cost/schedule analysis and contingency management.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
