​Job Purpose:

We are currently on the lookout for a Project Manager to join the Interiors team in Leighton Buzzard, leading new galley projects for one of the most modern passenger aircraft, the Airbus A350 XWB. The Project Manager will support the successful delivery of the galley programme and associated airline projects, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and within scope. The role will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external customers, managing project plans, resources, risks, and opportunities, while driving continuous improvement across the programme.

What will you do:

Work closely with the Senior Project Manager/Programme Manager to support delivery of the galley programme and associated airline projects.Facilitate daily or weekly stand-ups / task meetings to track progress, resolve blockers, and ensure accountability.Act as the interface between customers and internal teams for assigned work packages. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.Monitor and report on project progress, providing weekly, monthly metrics to ensure deliverables are met.Maintain detailed dashboards and reports on project performance, including status, milestones, resource allocation, budget, risks, and issues.Collaborate within an Integrated Project Team situated across global sites (Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations, Commercial) to ensure projects are properly resourced and delivered to plan.Develop, execute, and maintain project plans, updating them to reflect changing requirements and priorities..Execute Risk & Opportunity Management processes to mitigate risks and capitalize on potential opportunities.Facilitate lessons learned sessions to support the PMO in driving continuous improvement.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Previous experience in project coordination or management, preferably in aerospace or airline industries.Demonstrate understanding of project life cycle management principles, tools, and methodologies. Experience using project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.Experience working within Integrated Project Teams (IPT) and cross-functional environments.Knowledge of product lifecycle processes, including PDR, CDR, and FAI.Commercial awareness and a strong focus on delivering internal objectives.Knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
