Job Description SummaryAs part of customer-related equipment, facilities, or infrastructure projects, the Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction. This role involves managing all project-related activities and resources, ensuring timely execution, financial performance, and compliance with contractual and quality requirements. While operating with a degree of autonomy, the Project Manager is guided by company policies and is expected to ensure results meet defined standards in terms of quality, volume, and timeliness.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead assigned projects from handover/kick-off to closure, managing both technical and commercial aspectsEnsure compliance with contractual obligations, standards, and internal processesMonitor and report key project performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, forecast accuracy, margin, on-time delivery, invoicing, and cash collectionMaintain clear and consistent communication with internal departments; lead action plans and recovery initiatives when requiredEngage regularly with customers, partners, contractors, and consultants to align on project status and expectationsIdentify and manage project risks and opportunities in a timely and proactive mannerTrack all third-party obligations including customer and consortium partner requirementsDeliver project milestones on schedule to avoid or minimize exposure to liquidated damagesEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the execution phaseSupervise preparation and submission of customer documentation, including approval processesMaintain accurate project data in internal project execution toolsComply with company and local EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies and demonstrate leadership in EHS practicesRequired Qualifications:
Strong verbal and written English language skillsBachelor’s degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related technical fieldMinimum of 3 years’ experience in project management, contract management, field operations or business development, preferably in the transformer or energy sectorStrong command of Microsoft Office toolsDesired Characteristics:
Proficiency in German, French, or Spanish is a plusExperience in project management in the America region would be an advantageStrong leadership and ownership in managing end-to-end project lifecyclesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholdersSolid organizational and time management abilities; capable of handling multiple prioritiesProblem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering results under pressureProven ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration across teamsCustomer-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality and service excellenceExperience in risk management, budgeting, and project planningFamiliarity with project management tools and methodologies (PMP certification is a plus)Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and maintain a proactive, solution-driven attitudeAdditional InformationRelocation Assistance Provided: No
