Project Manager
Job Description The Project Manager oversees strategic enterprise initiatives on behalf of business unit managers and credit union leadership. They lead cross-functional teams through planning, analysis, and execution to ensure timely project delivery with exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include managing projects from inception to implementation, designing processes for both traditional and Agile environments, and tracking progress, issues, and scope changes to ensure successful outcomes. They support operational and business process improvements and maintain clear communication across all organizational levels, vendors, and service providers to ensure high-quality systems development and support. The Project Manager contributes to strategic planning and advises on project management best practices for intra-departmental initiatives. They foster a culture of open communication, learning, customer service excellence, problem-solving, risk management, and innovation. Limited travel may be required. Safety-conscious behavior is expected in all operations. This is a 6 month contract to hire with the expectation to convert permanent pending performance. THis person is expected to make an hourly rate of $50-63/hr with a conversion salary of $106,000 -$132,000. Please note that these rates are based upon experience. Skills and Requirements · Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma with 8+ years operational experience with increasing levels of responsibility  · 3+ years’ experience in a project management/process improvement role that includes delivery of technology solutions  · Experience leading projects with noticeable business impacts and cross divisional involvement   ○ Experience with both small/medium sized and enterprise projects  · Proficiency in the use of business software applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio  · Strong working knowledge of the project life cycle, and project management best practices  · Demonstrated change management experience  · Knowledge of agile project management processes and terminology  · Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills are imperative  · Must possess excellent organization and time management skills  · Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and able to balance priorities under changing conditions  · Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization  · Strong ability to resolve conflict, negotiate solutions, remove barriers and build consensus  · Able to motivate and build teams and influence without formal authority along with administering accountability · Complies with all Credit Union policies and procedures including those related to Bank Secrecy Act regulations. · Master’s Degree in Business, Operations or related field of study  · 5+ years in a project management lead or related team member role  · Experience in two or more of the following disciplines: financial services, operations or manufacturing  · CAPM / PMP or other industry recognized project management/process improvement certification  · Formal traditional or agile project management training  · Previous work in an enterprise PMO or matrixed organization  · Familiarity with Jira  · Experience in the credit union or financial services industry · Overall knowledge of Symitar software, Delta Community Credit Union policies and procedures - their core processing technology
