This position requires approximately 5 years of relevant experience in product development project management. The role focuses on designing, communicating, and implementing an operational plan for completing an engineering-based project. This includes preparing designs, project controls, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, and overseeing the production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of new infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The Project Manager will be responsible for monitoring progress, resolving operational problems, and minimizing delays, while identifying and gathering necessary resources.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare engineering standards, designs, and work specifications.Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.Select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.Manage projects or subprojects with limited complexity from initiation to completion.Define and manage scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risks to deliver on agreed project objectives.Work independently with limited supervision.Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.Address and solve difficult and sometimes complex problems.
Essential SkillsApproximately 5 years of experience in product development project management.Strong project management experience.Electrical engineering experience.Advanced knowledge typically obtained through education and work experience.
Additional Skills & QualificationsCertification in project management may be beneficial.Experience in the automotive industry.
Work Environment
The work environment involves managing engineering-based projects, which may include working on infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. The role requires working with various technologies and equipment, and may involve occasional travel to project sites. The Project Manager may be assigned to a more complex project with support from a lead project manager.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $42.00/hr.
