Job Description
We are searching for our new colleague for the role of PROJECT MANAGER.
In accordance with generally accepted engineering principles, the Project Manager role coordinates and manages various product development projects through all phases of initiation, engineering, testing, release and subsequent support.
In this role, you will report to the Program Operations Manager and follow a hybrid work schedule based in Prague, Czech Republic.
Your Responsibilities:scheduling/planning across multiple functional areascoordinating outside development resources and factored product acquisitionsproviding continuation engineering for existing productsresponsibility for the definition and clear communication of project prioritiesdelivering project expectations, and identifying and mitigating issue/risk among a cross-functional project teamrepresenting the best interest of the business unit.The Project Manager role may, at times, assist in the development of business and marketing strategies optimizing the performance of new and existing product lines to achieve business objectives.
This requires the Project Manager to maintain an understanding of the BU's business practices (finance, portfolio plans, strategy, etc.) and provide input to the engineering organization in regards to technical staff coordination, resource allocation, performance feedback and development planning.
The Essentials - You Will Have:Minimum 2+ years of experience in product development or in a leadership role.Fluent both Czech and EnglishAbility to lead multiple teams, partner with management to resolve conflicts and lead indirect resources.Demonstrates strong ownership and accountability, ensuring transparency in communication, and proactive risk managementEffectively communicates and facilitates presentations (internally and externally).The Preferred - You Might Also Have:Bachelor Degree in Engineering discipline or equivalent experienceDemonstrated experience in leading product development efforts.Proven ability to direct resources, plan project activities and balance financial budgets.Recognizable knowledge of detailed product development processes.Experience in information security and approval process with TUV or other approving agencies.Familiarity with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, SAFe, XP or Kanban.PMP professional certification or other Project management certification.What We Offer:Our benefits package includes …
