Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the implementation and retirement of laboratory equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. This role requires a strong understanding of lab operations and instrumentation, along with experience in project coordination and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory science and be comfortable managing cross-functional initiatives in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage implementation plans for new lab instruments and equipment
+ Write, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
+ Lead validation and qualification processes for new equipment
+ Create and manage change orders in accordance with regulatory standards
+ Oversee technical writing and documentation for equipment and processes
+ Coordinate installation and decommissioning of lab equipment
+ Collaborate with lab staff, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution
Required Skills
+ Bachelor degree in related field
+ Validation and equipment qualification
+ Familiarity with general lab instrumentation
+ Project management and coordination
+ Technical writing and SOP development
+ Understanding of laboratory workflows and healthcare compliance
+ Experience with change control processes
+ Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Laboratory knowledge or hands-on experience with lab equipment
+ Ability to troubleshoot and support equipment setup
+ Experience working in a regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
+ Comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
