Job Title: Project Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee projects based on new service applications. This role involves gathering and analyzing project information, meeting with customers, and ensuring successful project completion.
Responsibilities
+ Gather information about projects based on new service applications.
+ Meet customers in person as required to discuss project details.
+ Visually inspect existing electric distribution equipment such as transformers, poles, and wires.
+ Take measurements, create sketches, and prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs).
+ Prepare customer agreements based on collected project information.
+ Ensure customers have obtained the requisite permits.
+ Schedule energizations after the customers' electricians' work is complete and project requirements are fulfilled.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in project management and project coordination.
+ Proficiency in using MS Office Suite.
+ Ability to conduct field surveys and create site layouts.
+ Knowledge of overhead, underground, and vault electrical systems.
+ Experience with Asset Suite 8.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong customer service skills.
+ Capability to sketch elevations and site layouts based on visual inspections.
+ Ability to stay highly organized.
Work Environment
This position is 100% remote but requires candidates to be local to Oakbrook or Chicago for field visits. The role operates on a 1st shift schedule, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Enjoy premium benefits, 9 holidays, and 2 weeks of vacation.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
