Job Title: Project ManagerJob Description

Join our esteemed team in Georgetown, D.C., as a Project Manager, where you will work within a reputable general contractor's beautiful waterfront office. You will play a pivotal role in managing a diverse array of projects, including historic preservation, new construction, retail construction, high-end residential, and institutional services.

ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee construction projects from conception to completion.Coordinate and consult on preconstruction activities and project management.Lead and supervise general contracting duties for projects such as schools, parks, libraries, and community centers.Ensure adherence to project blueprints, drawings, and scope.Utilize Procor and Excel for project management and documentation.
Essential Skills10+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager with a focus on commercial construction projects.Proficiency in Procor and Excel.Experience in design-build methodologies.Expertise in managing historic preservation and renovation projects.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with local general contractors on historic government projects.Familiarity with diverse project types such as tenant fit-out, restaurants, and institutional construction.
Work Environment

The role requires spending approximately 80% of the time in a beautiful waterfront office setting in Georgetown, D.C., and 20% on-site at various project locations. This position involves a combination of office-based work and field duties. Dress code is business casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.67 - $52.88/hr.
