Job Title: Software Program Manager
Job Description
The Software Program Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive development and implementation of assigned projects, serving as the primary point of contact. This role involves overseeing projects from their inception to final implementation, interfacing with the organization and its customers in all project-related areas.
Responsibilities
+ Define project scope and objectives based on organizational requirements.
+ Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
+ Conduct project meetings and manage project tracking and analysis.
+ Coordinate taskers to ensure priority actions are executed in a timely, cohesive, and accurate manner.
+ Analyze information and data to assess progress of programs, projects, and processes.
+ Provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team and recommend solutions to organizational leadership.
+ Organize, manage, and present information, including delivering oral recommendations.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in the last fifteen years coordinating and managing complex DoD engineering or technical programs.
+ Experience in coordinating military acquisition programs, preferably with ground combat vehicle systems.
+ 15 years of experience in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, with a focus on model-based systems and DoD projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
+ Master's degree in engineering is preferred with 10+ years of experience in project management.
+ Preferred degrees include Project Management, Business Management/Administration, or related fields.
Work Environment
The position is located on-site at the Arsenal in Warren, offering flexible schedules without hard start/stop times. This role provides a great work-life balance and involves working with cutting-edge military technologies. A Secret level security clearance will be obtained as part of the job.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $67.31/hr.
