Project Manager
Job Title: Energy Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Energy Project Manager who will oversee projects post-sales, ensuring seamless installation experiences for customers. The role involves coordinating internal processes with stakeholders, managing installations, and handling all aspects of permitting and utility coordination. Responsibilities + Establish yourself as the main point of contact during customer onboarding. + Review assessments, notes, and requests to create installation plans. + Submit documentation to third-party drafting companies and ensure accuracy. + Handle all permitting, inspection, and utility coordination. + Communicate installation timelines and updates to customers. + Finalize monitoring registration and handle post-installation service claims. + Create job postings for project crews and manage project updates in ClickUp. Essential Skills + Professional qualification in PV/ESS/EVC/Service projects. + NABCEP PV Design Specialist certification. + Strong customer communication skills. + Technical understanding of PV/ESS/EVC/Service projects. + Familiarity with permitting and utility approval processes. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Effective communication with inspectors and plan reviewers. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in construction management and project management. + Exposure to construction trades and utility work. + Experience interfacing with customers. + Knowledge of electrical work and prints. + Project management experience in solar installation preferred. + Previous experience with an energy/solar installer is preferred. + Knowledge of residential permitting and code compliance is nice to have. Work Environment The work environment is a small office setting with 10-11 people, within a company of 55. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative projects in the renewable energy space, focusing on EV battery installations and high-end residential projects. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
