Project Manager
Description We are looking for a dedicated Project Manager to join our team in Kissimmee, Florida. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers a unique opportunity to oversee and coordinate construction projects, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to manage all aspects of project administration. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and distribute project plans and specifications to subcontractors, ensuring effective solicitation processes. • Establish and maintain organized project filing systems for accurate documentation. • Assist in drafting and issuing subcontracts and purchase orders in a timely manner. • Verify and process subcontractor and owner pay requisitions to ensure prompt payments. • Track and manage change orders, invoices, and project closeout documentation. • Support the Project Manager throughout all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion. • Facilitate equipment rentals, material procurement, and related documentation to meet project needs. • Prepare precise and well-organized project correspondence and documentation in alignment with company standards. • Communicate effectively with customers and vendors regarding project updates and requirements. • Undertake additional responsibilities and tasks as directed by the supervising manager. Requirements • High school diploma required, with additional technical training or education preferred. • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in project coordination or management. • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is essential. • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desirable. • Strong organizational skills and ability to follow directions effectively. • Familiarity with construction documents and subcontract agreements. • Ability to work in a drug-free workplace environment. • Knowledge of formal project management practices and cross-functional coordination.
