Responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe development of operations at the facilities, strictly complying with safety standards and standard operating procedures. Leads the planning and supervision of preventive and corrective maintenance activities on equipment and facilities. Collaborates with senior management in defining short-, medium-, and long-term strategies aimed at optimizing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maximizing the profitability of operations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and coordinate the operations and maintenance of the platform facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, operational standards, and efficiency in activities.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams in key areas such as production, maintenance, facilities engineering, finance, contracts, and QHSE, ensuring project delivery within established deadlines and budgets.
Design and execute long-term strategies in collaboration with directors and executives, focusing on maximizing profitability, productivity, and operational efficiency.
Manage and optimize artificial lift operations to increase oil and gas production, implementing advanced technologies and best practices.
Propose and implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs, such as optimizing pump designs, improving gas injection systems, or introducing new lifting methods.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise well maintenance interventions, including repairs, equipment replacement, well cleaning, and upgrading artificial lift systems.
Prepare and present detailed technical reports on well performance, interventions carried out, and results obtained, providing analyses that support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to evaluate and optimize production performance in real time, ensuring the efficient use of resources and technologies.
Ensure compliance with financial and operational goals through efficient management of human, material, and budgetary resources.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field, with diploma and professional registration.
Advanced English
Experience in the oil and gas industry, and a leadership or management role.
Solid knowledge of artificial lift systems, nodal analysis, production testing, and flow optimization.
Advanced knowledge of strategic planning and operations management in the energy sector.
Proven experience in managing high-impact projects and meeting performance metrics.
In-depth knowledge of industrial and environmental safety standards.
