Spotless Facilities Services (a Downer Company) delivers a range of Facilities Maintenance and Management Services to New Zealand Defence Force.

The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects using project management disciplines from initiation through to completion. This includes planning, coordinating, and managing resources, timelines, budgets, and stakeholders. 

The Project Manager ensures projects are completed on time, safely, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining quality standards and fostering positive working relationships across all stakeholders.

Nga pūkenga matua | Important Skills

Project management certification.A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in managing complex projects within the construction of facility service industry (or similar).Experience in an operational environment.Proven track record of managing resources, budgets, and schedules efficiently.Practical experience identifying potential risks, creating mitigation strategies, and managing issues during the project lifecycle.Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, team members, and clients.Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and handle competing priorities.Ability to address challenges and create innovative solutions quickly.Familiarity with project management software and understanding of basic technical concepts relevant to the project.Proficiency in managing project budgets, forecasting costs, and ensuring the project stays within financial constraints.Working knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
