Job Description
The Technical Project Manager will lead a $200 million capital project, coordinating schedules and communications between internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include leading meetings, managing budgets, creating invoices, handling change order requests, reviewing technical drawings and specifications with engineering, and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
ResponsibilitiesLead daily and weekly meetings with stakeholders.Manage project budgets effectively.Create and process invoices and change order requests.Review technical drawings and specifications in collaboration with engineering teams.Ensure project timelines are met consistently.Coordinate schedules and communications between all stakeholders.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.3-5 years of experience leading large-scale capital projects.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Strong background in mechanical engineering.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.Experience with SAP software.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of distillery operations and equipment.Experience managing equipment installation projects.Work Environment
The role is based in a plant manufacturing environment at one of the top distilleries in Kentucky, involving a $200 million expansion project. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, totaling 40 hours per week, with occasional Saturdays during commissioning. The environment requires walking outside to review layouts and communicate with on-site contractors. Benefits include PTO and 6 holidays.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
