What is the opportunity?
You will be a Project Manager, delivering projects for RBC GAM (EMEA APAC).
This position is full time and will require you to work a minimum of 4 days in the office per week with the option to work one day from home.
Overseeing project processes and procedures; monitoring the productivity and performance of project team.Managing all aspects of projects. Setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of project.Ensuring adherence to project schedules and completion of project goals.Preparing reports for upper management regarding status of project.What will you do?Project manage multiple projects at one time.Drive projects forward to delivery, to achieve value as soon as possible, by ensuring that all tasks are relevant to the business case, and there is no scope creep or gold plating.Understand complex problems and communicate them effectively to a wide range of stakeholders (Management, Sales, Front, Middle, Back, Technology).Produce project documents and artifacts including generating project plans.Manage and monitor plans - keeping projects on track, monitoring risks and issues with timely escalations and a hands-on approach to delivery.Work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues in EMEA APAC and NA. Building and maintaining good working relationships for the benefit of the team and the firm, showing self-awareness and respect for others.Dependent on the complexity of the project perform high level business analysis.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to tailor communication based on the audience and purpose. Good interpersonal skills, being able to liaise with a variety of business units and work collaboratively and effectively with colleagues, showing self-awareness and respect for others.Solid project management experience.Asset Management experience required; financial services background may be considered.Fixed Income Instrument, money market and derivative instruments knowledge and trade flow desirable.Must have experience of working with Software Development teams.Must have excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
