The Project Manager will be the primary communication link between the client and the laboratory. The role is based in our Dungarvan site. The day to day duties of role include;
Lead the full project lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects from initiation through completionDevelop and maintain detailed project plans and timelinesCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless executionMonitor project progress and proactively manage risks and issuesCommunicate project status, milestones, and deliverables to stakeholdersEnsure projects are delivered on time and within scopeFacilitate regular project meetings, maintain documentation and follow up on actions to maintain momentum.Drive continuous improvement in project management processesServe as the primary point of contact for global biopharmaceutical clientsManage method establishment projects for complex analytical techniques (e.g., HPLC, ELISA, cell-based assays, PCR)Oversee late-phase and commercial method validation and transfer activitiesCoordinate stability and release testing programs in compliance with regulatory standards (ICH, FDA, EMA)Scope client requirements with the business development team and translate them into actionable project plansManage project materials and documentOversee development and approval of study materials on projects at assigned pharmaceutical clientsRisk identification/management and contingency planning.Coordinate management of resources and tasks to ensure availability/continuity of all logistics, materials and technologies necessary as defined by scope-of-services.Proactively identify new opportunities to upsell Eurofins BPT services.Prepare, conduct and document lessons learned activities as a handover of project results for documentation.QualificationsPMP or PRINCE2 certificationBachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field preferredMinimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in a biopharmaceutical or CRO environmentStrong understanding of analytical methods used in biologics and gene therapy product testingExperience managing client-facing projects in a regulated laboratory settingExcellent communication, organizational, and leadership skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to travel for business (overnight trips are to be expected)Additional InformationEurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company, providing a unique range of analytical testing services to clients across multiple industries, to make life and our environment safer, healthier and more sustainable.
