Actalent is hiring a PROJECT MANAGER for a Space client located in the West Island of Montreal, QC.
Description:
• Ensure correct staffing levels and match competencies to project needs.
• Organize resources to manage the program, negotiating with line managers and other programs as needed.
• Negotiate and agree with customers on key requirements, objectives, funding, resources, and methods.
• Prepare detailed schedules, track progress, and develop work-around plans to meet cost and schedule objectives.
• Identify and manage program risks and opportunities.
• Maintain hands-on control through regular reviews, audits, and meetings.
• Provide technical and administrative guidance to the program team.
• Maintain visibility with customers through regular meetings.
• Keep management informed through monthly reviews and briefings.
• Develop a network of capable subcontractors and suppliers
Program Management experience as managing a program/project from client SOW/requirements, through planning/engineering execution, to manufacturing, to client delivery within cost and schedule.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in program/project management or project engineering.
• Experience with negotiations, risk management, contract management, subcontract management, financials, and US ITAR regulations.
